I. How to Replace the diaphragm of a metering pump?
Disassemble the diaphragm
1. Remove the hex socket fixing screws on the front cover of the pump and take off the front cover.
2. Adjust the flow regulating top rod of the metering pump to the 0% position, and the diaphragm will leave the pump body.
3. Grasp the edge of the diaphragm with both hands and remove it by tightening the front and loosening the back.
4. Remove the support plate behind the diaphragm and remember the direction of the support plate.
Install the diaphragm
1. Install the support plate behind the replaced diaphragm and add an appropriate amount of grease between the diaphragm and the support plate.
2. Grasp the edge of the diaphragm, install the diaphragm sheet on the connecting rod of the pump in a tight front and loose back manner, and lock it tightly.
3. Adjust the flow regulating top rod of the metering pump to the position.
4. Install the front cover and tighten the hex socket fixing screws.
